A very important activity after liposuction is wearing the compression agarment and doing proper massages.

The compression garment

The compression garment is a thin, flexible costume, consisting of two zones - pressure in areas where we were removing fat, and a pressure-free in the area of the buttocks. The clothes fit individually to the patient's size and we order as part of the preparation for the procedure. Reliable use is important for the next 6 weeks, 24 hours a day.

We buy it a week before the surgerym, upon your dimensions. Colors body beige or black to choose from.

Massage sessions

After 1 week, we need to start a series of professional massages. A cycle of 10 treatments should be performed twice a week, at possibly equal time intervals. These massages should be performed by a physiotherapist with experience in postoperative lymphatic drainage.

The nature of this massages changes with time. It is first a Manual Lymphatic Massage to remove lympha from the treated areas. Further session focus on tissue masasge to remove irregularities and ensure smooth skin condition.

Optimal nutrition

Transplanted fat also requires special care for 2 weeks after the procedure. It is about providing optimal conditions for the reception of given cells and their inclusion in the metabolic processes of the body. It will be important to avoid pressure, and therefore a special way of sitting down and sleeping. A diet rich in sugars promotes the acceptance of transplanted cells in a new place, thus contributing to the final satisfaction after the procedure.
